-Taking the role of system design of panel products such as TCON, backlight control, etc.
-Converting marketing requirements into detailed technical specifications
-Communicating with marketing people about the feasibilities, reaching an agreement on optimum specifications
-Developing detailed system architecture of panel products
-Conducting evaluation board design, chip validation, problem solving and customer support
-Co-working with worldwide teams and 3rd parties to deliver the best designs
TCON is the timing control unit that is inside the LCD panels, as an interface between the LVDS input and row/column drivers. That is the most important control part inside the LCD panel. xxx has several proprietary technologies in this field and has had successful MP chips already.
-An university degree in electronics engineering or equivalent, master degree is a plus
-Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferable in LCD panel and TCON board designs
-Experience in electronic system debug and troubleshooting
-Skills to design schematics, high speed PCB layout
-Familiar with EDA tools such as OrCAD CIS, Allegro PCB, etc.
-Familiar with EMC standards and experience of EMI designs and trouble shooting
-Familiar with ESD standards and experience of ESD protection designs and trouble shooting
-Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Mandarin, Korean is a plus
-Good team work and willingness to travel across the world
-Working experience in multi-national companies
