Responsibilities: His/her specific duties will include but not be limited to the following:
-Taking the role of Hardware Design of DTV/LCD TV reference designs and product designs based on xx chip sets
-Converting marketing requirements into detailed technical specifications
-Evaluating chipsets, solutions, reference designs based on cost, performance and time to market, including both hardware and software aspects
-Monitoring market developments, new features, devices, costs on a continuous basis
-Communicating with IPG/TDG group about the feasibilities, reaching an agreement on optimum specifications
-Developing detailed system architecture (block diagram, chipset, schematics, hardware interface) for DTV TV systems, LCD TV, PDP TV, Projection TV systems
-Estimating resource requirements for execution phase
-Supporting the implementation team for optimizing, debugging till product launch
-Team up and project management
-Project plan and resource allocation
Requirements:
-An university degree in electronics engineering or equivalent, master degree is preferred
-Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferable in digital video and TV industry
-Experience in digital video processing is a must
-Experience in embedded system design
-Experience in DTV/LCD TV system debug
-Experience in project management and as a team leader
-Rich expertise on DTV/LCD TV systems
-Knowledge on architecture design, schematics, high speed PCB layout, EMC standards
-Familiar with EDA tools such as OrCAD, Allegro etc.
-Good communication skills, English language proficiency
-Team worker and leadership
