AMCC PowerPC 440GX Evaluation Kit
The AMCC PowerPC 440GX Evaluation Kit from Avnet Electronic Marketing speeds
time to market for designers, offering a platform to develop and test products that are targeted to the IBM PowerPC 440 family. The AMCC PowerPC 440GX is a superscalar processor with 32Kbyte instruction and data caches and a 256Kbyte L2 cache that
may also be utilized for low-latency packet/code storage. A TCP/IP offload engine may be utilized to speed up data packet processing on the two gigabit Ethernet ports.The 440GX module may be utilized as a 32/64-bit PCI/PCI-X target, or may be used as a stand-alone module powered from the included +5V @ 4.5A supply. Application support is provided by a 256 MB SODIMM DDR SDRAM module and 32 MB of Flash memory.
