| 简介 |
The Global Positioning System (GPS) provides exact position and time anywhere on the planet. Based on 24 satellites that orbit at 11,000 nautical miles above the earth, GPS is an exciting and revolutionary development. New GPS applications are constantly being discovered. Today, GPS is widely used for automotive navigation, wireless, and many other applications.
Infineon is entering this emerging market with Trimble, a recognised GPS technology leader.
FirstGPS System Solution

GPS RF前端Colossus - PMB 3330:
The GPS RF Front-end Colossus is a tightly integrated, single-chip, double-conversion radio receiver with pseudo I/Q outputs. It includes a low-noise amplifier, a programmable frequency synthesizer for two reference clock frequencies, two built-in samplers, and power-down circuitry. The Colossus is designed for use with the IO 12-Channel GPS Correlator IC (PMB 2500) in the FirstGPS architecture. Features
High integration, e.g. fully integrated VCO Low power consumption: <20 mW (2.7V) Extended operating temperature: -40° - 85° Celsius 4 power-saving modes P-TSSOP 24 or PG-VQFN 24 package available
增强性能GPS相关器IO– PMB 2500:
The Enhanced GPS Correlator IC outputs GPS measurement data to a host microprocessor. The host system uses this data to compute position, velocity and time solutions. Combined with the Colossus RF ASIC (PMB 3330) in the FirstGPS architecture, IOs 12 channel design enables parallel tracking of the GPS L1 (1.575 GHz) frequency. Features
Ultra low power consumption: < 8mW (3.3V) 12 channels 13MHz and 12.504 MHz frequency plan Few external components for lowest bill of material J-TAG Boundary Scan Extended operating temperature: -40° - 85° Celsius 4 power saving-modes Ease of integration with standard serial interface P-TSSOP 28 or PG-VQFN 40 package available
